Hey family,

This week was yet another crazy week, I couldn't believe how much time has passed. Conference, has come and gone. There was so much that I learned, during this time. The words of the prophet and the 12 touched my heart. There was a lot that I needed to hear, and a lot of my questions were answered. This week was full of activities and lessons. We are teaching a ton of people, and hopefully we will have a few batismo soon. Every day we walk so far, because everyone lives so far away, I would love to have a car, but we can't have them out here, so we walk, and we walk a ton. I think that when I go home I never will walk again. Easter for us was really relaxed and slow, we watched conference, and ate a little bit of chocolate. I am always tired, but that seems to be a normal thing. I am truly grateful for a prophet and the chance that I have to serve a mission. It sure is hard, but it makes me stronger and I am coming back a man, please keep me in your prays.

Hey,

So yet another week has passed. It is truly amazing how fast time flies. This week was a really long week, we walked every were. We were able to get a lot of work done, we have a couple of families that we are teaching, and are waiting to get baptized. We will see what will happen. This week we had a family night, almost every night which was amazing. one we got food, and the second more people to teach, and to touch the lives of the members. I really found a reason to help everyone. I have a new eye on how to help people. This week I was also a great help for a lot of people. I still don't know why but everyone trusts me and looks up to me. People come to me with their problems, sometimes to just talk, and others to get answers. I am starting to find a gift of mine. I am the go to friend, the person who is always there through the bad and the good, the one who's got your back. This week the Lord used me through this gift that he has given me, to help other people become better. I am here so that others can learn their potential in Gods eyes. This week we were working hard. This work is true and the gospel is true, there is nothing more important then this. Salvation.... have an amazing week and look to the Lord in the good times and bad.... he is there waiting to bless you.

Mom, I love you. This week, my comp and I had some major talks and now we are like best friends. We also are in a two week streak of baptizing. So, that is really fun. We are working our butts off. Every day we are running from one thing to the next. The members are also getting pumped up and excited to help us. We are making a ton of friends, and its been super fun. Also this Sunday I gave a talk in church for 25 min, because the person who was suppose to talk didn't show up. I will be giving another one this week. I have a feeling that in this ward I will be speaking a lot. This week we taught a lot and helped a ton of people, I also went and helped in some other areas. I was running around like crazy. Thursday, my comp got really sick and that night we didn't sleep because he was running to the bathroom every 5 min. This week I am super tired, but life is good. I can't believe how fast time is flying. I am tired because my area only has hills and we are always running to the next thing. Anyways take care and have an amazing week.

love you mom

Family how's life,

To start this letter I got transferred to a branch. It is really small, the members are amazing. My mission president came up to me and said "elder you are a really good, and I have a lot of faith in you. The zone leaders said this district is really hard. So far I am doing okay. We are working hard, we also had a baptism, so that was sweet and we should have one next week. I am tired and a little stressed because this area gets bad numbers and the Zone leaders so want numbers. Good numbers, so I am doing everything to have the Lord on my side. Pray for me. WE have a lot of people that we are teaching and I still think the best part of the mission is when you see the light of Christ in the eyes of the people you teach. This gives me true happiness, there is nothing better than to testify of what you know to be true. God lives and loves us, Jesus is our Savior and died for us. Joseph saw them both and brought back the truth. He showed us how we can have true happiness.

Well this week was just another long week. which means I am tired and just want to sleep. My companion for the week and I were able to help a ton of people. I was happy with our work. Day light saving was 3 weeks ago for us, so I am already use to having less sleep. Last night I found out I am being transferred. I have been in this area for about 8 months and now I am moving on. It is crazy how much time has passed. I get a new companion and a new are to get to know, which should be fun. Anyways have an amazing week and I will tell you what happens next week in my new place.

Love you

Dear family,

Well this week has had me on my toes. Where do I start, I got a call from the Mission President, saying, elder, I have a lot of trust in you. He asked if I would help a missionary who was struggling for the week. I said yes and figured all I can do is do my best. One day we were walking and doing some contacts, when I had the idea to go knock on this one door. So we did, and out came a mother, she looked at us and started to cry. We asked why, and what was wrong. She told us that she had lost a son a few months ago, his daughter is really sick, and her husband has been fighting with her. She was lost and did not know what to do, so she went to the last thing that she knew...The Lord. She prayed that he would send his angels to help her, not even 10 seconds after she had finished this prayer we knocked on the door. She came out and said you are the angels of the Lord. He answers my prayers and loves me. I stood there in shock, amazed about how the Lord works. Here I just had an idea to knock on this door, and the Lord was answering a prayer. She said that she could see the light coming off us, that we were the angels of the Lord. On Saturday I was able to do an interview for a baptism. Luis, wow I don't have any words. He is perfect, he was so ready to be part of the church, he wants to do everything perfect. Before the missionaries found him, he was already following the commandments because he thought it was the right thing to do. He is super smart and will be an amazing member, because he knows what he has to do to be saved, and return to god. This has to be the best investigator that I have met. He is a great man and will be a great leader. This mission is hard and is wearing me out, but the friends that I have met and the people that I have helped, and the work that I am doing is worth any sacrifice that I have to make. There is something amazing about this work

Well this week has been yet another crazy week, but one that I can't forget. This week I was able to help Liliane enter the waters of baptism. Wow she is super cool. When I was teaching her I was able to see the light of Christ grow in her eyes, I saw a light of power, love, truth, and everything. This gives me hope that this world isn't all bad that there is still hope. There is still goodness in the middle of the darkness, that there are still good people in the world. I see both sides of the world here. I see the darkest things the world can offer, but I also see the goodness like a little seed. If I plant it and help it grow, giving it water and protecting it until it is a tree then I see the fruit of my work, as families grow in the church. I see the fruit of my work and this is the best joy that one can have. All my work that I do here, goodness comes from it. This week was a good week and I enjoyed it. I am tired but it's all worth it in the end.

So mom to answer your question..I think the best thing that you can do is teach them about Jesus Christ, because if we understand a little bit about the atonement then we wouldn't dare sin and we would work so much harder to help and be better. Always your example teaches better than a million words. Don't ever tell people what to do but invite them. When you ask them, I invite them to do this not for me, but for the Lord. When people put in their head that they are doing it for the Lord and not you, they are more likely to do it, because they are doing it for their Father in Heaven. In the end talk about how much Jesus went through so that we could be here and have the light. Give them small things, and over time you can give them harder things. Use the Lord in everything. If you want someone to change you have to become their friend first, because if you aren't friends then they don't have a reason to do it, but if you're friends then they will do whatever you need. You have to be friends, like true friends. I love you mom!

Love You
